ONE brings water to rural Africa

Shipping consortium Ocean Network Express (ONE) has signed a partnership with Project Maji, a pan-African safe water NGO, to address the needs of rural communities in Ghana and Kenya. The partnership, made through its Europe arm will install solar-powered water access points, significantly improving health and education prospects.

In Ghana, ONE has sponsored the creation of the Project Maji River Solution on the banks of the Volta Riverwith a pumping and filtration station to supply safe water to local communities.
