Dachser Norway to open Kristiansand office
[ October 18, 2023 // Chris Lewis ]Dachser’s Norway arm is to open a branch in Kristiansand, in the south of the country, in February 2024.
The German-owned forwarding and logistics company says the new branch will be an important hub to strengthen its network not only in in Norway, but also in the entire Nordic region as well as in Europe.
It will offer customers in the region customized logistics and comprehensive import and export services, opening up new opportunities to access EU markets in Europe more easily. Until now, Dachser Norway has been represented by a sales office in Kristiansand.
Sales manager at Dachser in Kristiansand, Magnus Asbjørnsen, said: “The south of Norway is an important center for trade and industry. We are pleased to be able to offer our customers daily departures to Europe, short lead times and a reliable network.”
Dachser has also appointed current general manager Armend Krasniqi country manager. Krasniqi joined the company in 2019 and has been instrumental in strengthening its market position in Norway, with a 16% increase in revenue in 2022 compared to 2021.
Krasniqi said: “I look forward to continuing the growth path we have set in Norway. We will continue to identify growth opportunities and optimize supply chains for our customers.”
Dachser Norway was founded in 2005 and i addition to Kristiansand, has an office in Vinterbro near Oslo.
