DHL Supply Chain to move to HVO

DHL Supply Chain says it is accelerating its UK road transport decarbonisation strategy and, in addition to deploying vehicles running on biogas and electric vehicles, will use green HVO diesel fuel across most of its on-site fuelling stations. HVO  will deliver 80-90% carbon savings compared to conventional  and save about 15,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions. More than 6 million litres of HVO will be rolled out within DHL’s on-site fuelling stations this year, replacing diesel in 20 locations.
