Kuehne+Nagel offers electric insetting

Kuehne+Nagel says it has become the first logistics service provider to offer an ’insetting’ solution for electric vehicles. The solution, available though its Book & Claim option was previously limited to low-emission fuels. Last October, it launched an insetting solution for HVO. Customers who use Kuehne+Nagel’s road transport services can now ‘claim’ the carbon reductions of electric trucks when it is not possible to physically move their goods on these vehicles, for example because of insufficient charging infrastructure or a limited driving range and payload.
