Kerry offers a swifter alternative
[ January 24, 2024 // Chris Lewis ]Hong Kong forwarder Kerry Logistics Network is reporting increased interest in its sea-air and road-air services across Eurasia following the recent disruption to deepsea shipping.
The sea-air solution transports shipments from Chinese seaports to European airports, via Dubai, within 16-21 days and is about40% cheaper than conventional air freight and up to 40% faster than sea freight. Operations are centred on the Kerry’s Jebel Ali bonded facility in Dubai.
Road-air, all-road, and road-rail services operate from China through Central Asia to Europe. Road-air shipments are completed in 15-20 days, all-road in 20-25 days, and road-rail within 25-30 days, all significantly faster than current sea freight times for similar routes.
