Wincanton to buy Zeus rights
[ February 20, 2024 // Chris Lewis ]UK logistics firm Wincanton, which in January announced a deal to be taken over by CEVA Logistics, part of CMA CGM, has itself acquired exclusive UK and Ireland software rights for Zeus’ digital freight management technologies – Freight Connect and Freight Command. It is part of the company’s strategic shift to focus on digital transport management services and has already developed its EyeQ planning and optimisation product. Wincanton will use the Zeus’ Freight Connect and Freight Command software rights to further enhance EyeQ. Zeus is an overland network management tool, allowing hauliers to automate their subcontracting processes, and providing drivers access to their routes through a dedicated app.
Zeus will continue to operate from its UK HQ, but withdraw from actively servicing the UK market.
