Seed funding for customs platform

[ April 2, 2024   //   ]

London-based Clear Customs Group has acquired $2.2 million of seed funding from a syndicate including venture capital firm Fuel Ventures to develop its iCustoms.AI trade compliance solutions. It says the investment will fuel its innovations and further develop its trade compliance platform.

Clear Customs established iCustoms to make clearance faster, cheaper, and more compliant. It says its HMRC-recognised customs declaration software and AI-powered platform achieves 99% accuracy, resulting intime and cost savings.

The founding team includes ex-HMRC chief information officer Mark Denney  as an advisor and ex-PWC accountant Adnan Zaheer.
