Transland promotes Luke Conlon to ops director

Irish transport and logistics company Transland Group, a member of the Palletways UK network, has promoted Luke Conlon to director of operations. He joined Transland in 2021 as sales representative becoming general manager in 2023.

In his new role he will oversee the strategic development of Transland’s operation while also managing the structure and resources of the various departments to maximise productivity and provide long-term opportunities for staff.

He said: “I aim to create exciting, long-term opportunities for each member of staff and look forward to developing our operations in the UK and Ireland.”

He has been part of the Palletways’ Emerging Leaders Programme and also earned high praise for stabilising service during the disruption following Brexit.
