DHL to manage supply chain for Chinese car maker
[ May 14, 2024 // Chris Lewis ]Chinese carmakers Omoda and Jaecoo have appointed DHL Supply Chain to run a multi-year warehousing contract ahead of their UK debut. Both brands are built by one of China’s largest car manufacturers, Chery Automobile.
DHL will support aftermarket services for both Omoda and Jaecoo, storing spare parts, accessories and components including batteries for electric and hybrid vehicles at its Valley Cross site in Rugby.
The new brands will also benefit from access to DHL’s pioneering EV Centre of Excellence which offers circular solutions for batteries.
