Peter Penseel takes the controls at SkyTeam

The SkyTeam Cargo alliance has appointed Peter Penseel, President – Delta Cargo, as the new chairperson of its cargo executive board, taking over from Saudia Cargo chief executive Teddy Zebitz, , who has served two terms in the role since 2021.

Prior to joining Delta, Penseel served as chief operating officer for airfreight at CEVA Logistics and his career includes senior leadership positions at Qatar Airways Cargo, DHL Global Forwarding and UTi Worldwide. He also serves as a member of the Supervisory Board of Maastricht Aachen Airport in the Netherlands.

SkyTeam Cargo members are Aerolíneas Argentinas Cargo, Aeromexico Cargo, Air France-KLM Cargo, China Cargo Airlines, Czech Airlines Cargo, Delta Cargo, ITA Airways Cargo, Korean Air Cargo, and Saudia Cargo. They fly more than 2,709 aircraft serving 150 destinations.

Russia-based Aeroflot’s membership is currently suspended.
