UPS opens Hyderabad healthcare cross-dock

UPS has opened a healthcare-focused cross-docking facility in Hyderabad, India.

It can hold or sort 15 pallets in +15°C to +25°C, 7 Pallets in +2 to +8°C and 50 pallets under uncontrolled ambient conditions, eliminating the need for prolonged warehouse storage.

The facility also serves as a safety net for critical shipments, ensuring that even in contingency situations, vital shipments remain protected.

The facility complies with pharma industry Good Distribution Practice (GDP) standards.

In 2023, UPS Healthcare launched UPS Premier in India, a track, trace and technology-led service that prioritizes and tracks critical shipments within three meters of their location anywhere in UPS’s global network.
