FedEx opens new south of Spain site

Federal Express has opened a new facility in Málaga, southern Spain. Located in the Santa Teresa Industrial Estate, it spans 3,244sq m (34,900sq ft) of warehouse space over a third more than the previous site.

It triples FedEx’s sorting capacity, and can handle up to 1,500 packages per hour. The station also features 29 loading docks, including seven specifically designed for trailers, trucks, and vans, streamlining processing of larger shipments.

FedEx Express operates five air gateways in Spain in Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, Valencia, and Vitoria, two road hubs in Madrid and Barcelona, and 26 operational stations nationwide.
