New hires boost DP World in the Americas

Dubai-based logistics and ports group DP World has appointed and Peter Dyeremose as senior director of air freight and Philip Blumenthal as senior director of ocean freight for the Americas. They will play pivotal roles in enhancing service offerings and building a stronger freight network in the Americas.

Dyeremose joins DP World from Mainfreight where he was responsible for air freight operations and managing global agent partnerships throughout the Americas. His career also includes time with DSV US HQ, where he led the development of the US air freight sector and launched the cruise vertical, and K+N, where he supported the cruise and pharma sectors.

Blumenthal served as Chief Transformation Officer at ECU Worldwide, where he developed a digital sales model and implemented a platform sales strategy that enhanced service offerings. His efforts were instrumental in building the Freightos Marketplace and the Ocean Freight Index.
