Unsworth celebrates half century

Freight forwarder Unsworth Group is celebrating its golden jubilee in the UK. Over five decades it has transformed itself from a small freight forwarding operation into a global logistics provider, expanding its multimodal freight management services to include a robust Customs solutions team. Chief executive Richard Hogg (pictured, centre, with commercial director, Charles Hogg, left; Richard Hogg, chief executive officer, and managing director of its UK business, Thomas Kuehn, right)  says: “The freight and logistics world of today is completely different to the one in which in which Unsworth in the UK was established in 1974. However, ultimately, it is still all about adding value for our clients, anticipating and adapting to industry changes, as well as leading from the front with innovative solutions.”
