Ital Logistics gives its people DG insight

[ November 21, 2024   //   ]

Manchester forwarder Ital Logistics held a dangerous goods awareness training workshop at its offices on 21 November, in partnership with BIFA. The session included presentations by company Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor (DGSA), Adam Smethurst and Simon Morley, managing director and DGSA of sister company Ital Transport.

Air Sea Containers provided UN approved packaging as demonstration items for the workshop.

Ital Logistics says its course is specifically designed as a ‘halfway house’ between a basic course and a step into the world of DGSA.

Participants learned how to use the ADR book as well as marking and labelling packages.

Ital hopes to work with BIFA again with similar courses in the future and it can also offer training courses and DGSA consultancy to third parties.
