Dachser e-mega fleet on the move

Drivers from Dachser locations throughout Germany collected 12 new MAN eTGX trucks directly from the manufacturer in Munich on 21 February. The special ultra-low-liner tractors will allow the logistics operator to expand its electric fleet into its mega-trailer high-volume transport business.

The mega-trailers offer an additional 20cm interior height, as the loading area is just under 100cm above the road surface, increasing the available cargo space by 8 cubic meters while maintaining the same length and width and keeping within Germany’s overall height limit of 4 meters. With double-deck loading, a mega trailer offers space for 67 euro pallets.
