TIACA man quits

[ August 2, 2013   //   ]

Former secretary general of The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA), Daniel Fernandez, has left the association. Following the succession of Douglas Brittin to that role from 15 August, TIACA had originally stated that Fernandez would retain “a substantial continuing role at the association”. Brittin, who has 33 years in the industry, joined the US Transportation Security Administration as air cargo manager in 2007, where he was responsible for the development of the Certified Cargo Screening Program. In May 2010, he was promoted to division director, air cargo.
