FTA Masterclasses return to Multimodal
[ February 10, 2014 // Chris ]The Freight Transport Association will hold another series of seminars, tutorials and master classes on supply chain best practice at the Multmodal show at the NEC between 29 April and 1 May.. Panels of experts will help tackle supply chain issues, keeping visitors up-to-date with the latest regulations and helping them find new ways to work more efficiently and compliantly.
FTA will also be taking part in a series of panel discussions and masterclasses on Wednesday 30 April – the second day of the show. Subjects include moving freight by water, what needs to change to get more freight on rail, portcentric logistics solutions, correct packing and accurate weighing of containers, and modern logistics contracts.
Speakers will come from the Co-operative, ASDA, Sainsbury, Network Rail, B&Q Kingfisher (UK), PD Ports, DP World, Peel Ports, International Cargo Handling Co-ordination Association (ICHCA), International Transport Workers’ Federation (ITF) and solicitors Holman Fenwick William, along with FTA experts.
