ABP names heads of Humber and procurement

Associated British Ports (ABP) has appointed Andrew Dawes as regional director, Humber succeeding Simon Bird when he leaves ABP at the end of October. Andrew Dawes began work at Southampton Container Terminal and has worked for companies including DP World, APM Terminals and ICTSI.  He will join ABP on 1 October, allowing a period of handover with Simon Bird.

ABP has also appointed Sanyalax Morrison as its new group head of procurement. She was previously strategic procurement director at National Highways, and brings over 15 years’ experience in industries including defence, pharmaceuticals, and heavy industry.
