ABP starts work on new car terminal
[ July 16, 2018 // Chris ]ABP is to start building work on a new vehicle terminal at the Port of Southampton, as part of a £50 million investment.
The new £15 million multi-storey facility will be built in the Eastern Dock and will provide storage for a further 3,000 vehicles.
ABP Southampton director, Alastair Welch, said: “ABP has already invested more than £32 million over the past five years to support the automotive industry.”
Some 11 vehicle-carrying services call in Southampton serving 52 ports in 40 countries every month.
