Airbridge to Lebanon
[ August 14, 2020 // Chris ]Emirates SkyCargo is operating a freighter airbridge to Lebanon in the wake of the Port of Beirut explosions with over 50 dedicated flights. Emirates has been serving Lebanon since 1991 with a currently regular service of two daily 777 flights to Beirut, with plans to add further frequencies.
It is also urging people to donate cash or pledge their Skywards Miles to help coordinate shipments of urgent food, medical supplies and other much needed items with a range of NGO partners. For every donation, cargo capacity will be provided for humanitarian organisations to transport critical medical equipment and supplies, food and other emergency relief goods directly to Beirut through Emirates SkyCargo.
