Airbus ship runs aground

A specialist ro ro vessel that carries aircraft wings Airbus A380 wings from North Wales to Toulouse has run aground in the in Dee estuary. The Ciudad de Cadiz, one of three similar ships in the Airbus fleet, was reported to be still still stuck on a sandbank near Mostyn port. All 23 crew on the 125m-long ship are reported to be safe and the vessel has been secured by three tugs, said Liverpool Coastguard.
