American Airlines cuts green deal with Kuehne+Nagel

American Airlines has reached an agreement in principle to allocate a portion of the carbon reduction benefit it generates through its use of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) to Kuehne+Nagel. It is believed to be the largest SAF collaboration between a freight company and an airline, and is based on 3 million gallons of fuel. It equates to a of nearly 26,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide over three years.
