American Eagle swoops on Japan – with help from Geodis

Clothing firm American Eagle Outfitters has appointed Geodis’ Japan office a contract to support the retailer’s distribution centre in the country and anticipates expanding the brands to other markets in Asia in the coming months.

AEO says the distribution centre will cut down lengthy delivery times through a centralized distribution model from a single location to ensure customers have the best experience. 

The forwarder said the new contract “comes amidst explosive growth of opportunities on e-Commerce platforms around the world”.
