Another buy for Scan Global Logistics

Scan Global Logistics (SGL) has acquired German-US operator AFL Logistics in Germany and American Freight Line SE (AFL) in the US. The Copenhagen-headquartered forwarder said the move would strengthen its position in the automotive sector.  It is SCL’s ninth acquisition in 2022. The company bought Gelders Forwarding in the Netherlands and Advection Logistics in Hungary in July and in October 2021 purchased UK-based air and sea forwarder, Horizon International Cargo.
