Another freight record for Eurotunnel

Eurotunnel’s Le Shuttle Freight service has had a record year in 2015, carrying more than 1,464,880 trucks as of midnight 22 December, beating the previous high set in 2012, the year of the London Olympic Games. The previous week, Le Shuttle Freight carried the 23 millionth truck through the Channel Tunnel since commercial services started. Eurotunnel adds that 45% of its infrastructure capacity is still available, three new truck shuttles are on order and the market which continues to grow.
