Another year for Northern Ireland Trader Support Service
[ October 3, 2022 // Chris Lewis ]HM Revenue & Customs is to extend the Trader Support Service (TSS) for companies moving goods between Great Britain and Northern Ireland until December 2023.
More than 47,000 businesses have registered with the free digital platform since its launch in 2020 to navigate changes to the way goods move under the Northern Ireland Protocol.
It provides end-to-end support to manage digital declarations including completing import and safety and security declarations on behalf of trader, as well as providing guidance and training and enables traders to complete declarations without the need to purchase specialist software.
