APM extends in Rotterdam
[ April 3, 2023 // Chris Lewis ]The Port of Rotterdam Authority has signed an agreement with APM Terminals for a €1 billion expansion of Maasvlakte II container terminal on about 47.5 hectares with 1,000 metres of deep-sea quay. It is already constructing the new quay walls, which will be completed by mid-2024. The expansion will increase the terminal’s capacity by about 2 million TEU and is expected to be operational in the second half of 2026.
