APM to upgrade India terminal

APM Terminals Pipavav in Gujarat, north-west India has approved an Rs. 7 billion (€80 million) plan to upgrade the port’s facilities to handle bigger ships and increase annual container capacity from 1.35 to 1.6 million teu. Implementation of a Western Dedicated Freight Corridor is expected to increase cargo volume.
