Arvato opens new Shanghai centre
[ April 3, 2025 // Chris Lewis ]German-owned supply chain company Arvato has opened a new central logistics centre in China, consolidating multiple smaller sites into a single, modern facility. The 20,000sq m distribution building is in Shanghai’s Jinshan District and is designed to meet needs of clients in the high-tech and consumer goods industries.
The site is 60km from Shanghai Pudong International Airport and 50km from downtown Shanghai. Implementation started in mid-January and the facility was fully operational by early March. Two new clients from the tech industry are set to go live before June.
