Austrians complete Bulgaria takeover

Austrian-owned forwarder and logistics company Gebrüder Weiss has completed finished integration of Rhenus Bulgaria into its network. It adds four new locations to its national subsidiary in Bulgaria, in Burgas, Svilengrad, Varna and Plovdiv as well as 80 employees.  Staff members from its Sofia site are relocating to the Gebrüder Weiss national headquarters just outside the capital in Musachevo, which is being further expanded. The move marks Rhenus Bulgaria’s withdrawal from the domestic transport market and the transfer of these operations to Gebrüder Weiss.
