[ October 19, 2011 // Chris ]A second conference on the future of Libya will take place on Monday 14 November at the QE11 Conference Centre, Westminster, London. ‘Libya –The Future’ 2 will include details of political and commercial changes and will focus on how British industry and businesses can help rebuild Libya and do business with the new Libyan regime. There will also be a video conference call to Tripoli to hear from Libyan businesses directly on their progress getting back to business and ways to facilitate and establish UK business entry and establish local partnerships.

Meanwhile, Abu-Dhabi-based Etihad Airways said it planned to begin flights to Tripoli, as soon as the NATO no-fly zone is lifted, the airport is declared safe and all appropriate infrastructure is in place. They would be operated by an Airbus A330-200 with connections at Abu Dhabi for flights from North and South Asia and the Indian Subcontinent.
