Better box tracking in Rotterdam
[ October 2, 2019 // Chris ]The Port of Rotterdam has launched a ‘Boxinsider’ application that allows shippers and freight forwarders to see where their containers are located at any given moment. It is much more reliable than collecting information manually from different websites but draws on status information from vessels and terminals. It can determine expected and actual arrival and departure times for vessels, as well as container unloading and departures at container terminals. Users are warned about any delays or disruptions. Boxinsider works as a stand-alone application but it can also be integrated with existing systems using a link.
