BIFA unveils awards shortlist

[ November 4, 2014   //   ]

The British International Freight Association (BIFA) has revealed the finalists of the 26th BIFA Freight Service Awards. The winners will be revealed at a luncheon to on Thursday 22 January 2015 at The Brewery, Chiswell Street, London, EC1. Tickets are available from the BIFA Awards website: www.bifa.org/awards

BIFA director general Robert Keen commented that 2014 “has proven to be an exciting year for British business. A ‘no’ vote in the Scottish referendum coupled with the continuing economic recovery has renewed optimism across the freight forwarding sector.”

Keen continued: “The BIFA Freight Service Awards ceremony is an opportunity to celebrate the strengths of our dynamic sector, network with peers and liaise with BIFA representatives. The awards encourage entries from small, medium and large companies, with the goal of identifying the highest standards of quality across the British freight forwarding sector. Every submission, as ever, was of the utmost quality. I would like to thank all the entrants and wish the finalists every success.”
