Bradford firm gets into box logistics
[ March 19, 2015 // Chris ]Bradford-based Advanced Supply Chain has launched a Container Logistics service, which it is forecasting will handle 40 loads per week and generate £1.1million in revenues. It will use Advanced Supply Chain’s existing fleet of vehicles and, it is hoped. forge closer links between the transport and freight forwarding divisions of the business. Chief executive Mick Danby, said: “It makes absolute sense for the business to launch this new service at this time…We already had substantial infrastructure advantages which made container logistics a relatively simple addition to the range of end-to-end services we are now able to offer.”
Advanced Supply Chain has over 1.4million sq. ft. of storage, warehousing and distribution space, across its eight UK sites and also handles 3.5million parcels a year.
