Brazil gives green light to FedEx-TNT merger
[ March 30, 2016 // Chris ]Brazil’s competition watchdog, CADE (Conselho Administrativo de Defesa Econômica) has rejected an appeal against FedEx’s acquisition of rival express operator TNT brought by UPS. It was one of the last remaining obstacles to the merger of the express giants, although the two companies still need to obtain regulatory clearance in China.
