Bright outlook at Hapag-Lloyd

Hapag-Lloyd has raised its earnings forecast after a better than expected performance in the fourth quarter of the year. Chief executive Rolf Habben Jansen said that demand for container capacity “has continued to be surprisingly strong and today we are deploying every available ship. Additionally, we are on track with the cost savings from our Performance Safeguarding Program.”
