Brisk business for BIFA’s online customs training
[ June 11, 2019 // Chris ]BIFA says it is seeing massive interest for its new online customs declaration training. The 11-module module course includes export and import processes, entry completion rules, Customs Procedure Codes (CPCs) and Customs Simplified Procedures. BIFA says it should not take more than around five hours to complete.
Robert Keen, BIFA director general said: “Issues surrounding Customs declarations are in the spotlight at present and we perceived the need for a focused course that can improve the understanding of any of our members. Those members and others seem to agree as we have had over 500 individuals registering an interest in the new eLearning course that we introduced to our training portfolio in March 2019.”
Last December the government made £8 million available in funding for all customs intermediaries and traders completing customs declarations.
