Brit European gains £4m boost

Winsford, Cheshire-based international haulier Brit European has received a £4m asset finance package from Lloyds Bank for the purchase of new fuel-efficient tractor units and to accelerate its sustainability plans. Brit European has operations spanning a number of countries, including the UK, Ireland, France, Holland, Belgium and Germany. The company says that it is the first in the world to use methane gas recovered from slurry pits to help power the charging of its eight hybrid and electric vehicles.
