British flag for world’s largest ship
[ November 9, 2012 // Chris ]The world’s largest containership, the 16,000teu CMA CGM , began its maiden voyage on 7 November. The Korean-built, British-flagged giant has gone into service on CMA CGM’s FAL 1 service from Ningbo in China and is due to arrive in Southampton on 10 December.
The ship is the first of a series of three similar vessels; delivery of the other two is expected in 2013.
