Bumper grain harvest for Bristol

The largest shipment of grain from the UK this season is due to be exported from Bristol’s Royal Portbury Dock in late November. Up to 64,000 tonnes of barley is being loaded on to a Panamax vessel headed for Saudi Arabia, where it will be used as animal feed on behalf of Openfield, a co-operative representing more than 4,000 farmers.
