Car carrier opens German hub

Vehicle logistics specialist Ontime Automotive has opened a new subsidiary and facility in Germany.
The hub at Bergheim, near Cologne, is close to the Port of Antwerp-Bruges, the largest in Europe for vehicle transhipments and will provide covered storage and technical support, mirroring the activities of Ontime’s Technical Services division, in Chelmsford.
Ontime will introduce its first German-based transporters in the first quarter of 2025.
The company already has a French hub in Calais.
