Car expert joins DSV Road

DSV Road has appointed Marc Coleman as sector development manager for its automotive team. Based in the UK, his role is to build on the brand’s global heritage in this sector and re-introduce DSV as a fresh player in the sector.
He comes from an automotive and logistics background in Birmingham, and has worked with all of the major car makers in the UK while at other freight forwarding and logistics companies, including DB Schenker and Agility.
DSV Road transports components for trucks and cars from more than 300 suppliers across the UK and consolidates them at its automotive cross dock facility in Tamworth for onward distribution. From Tamworth, it then provides the line-haul transportation to Poland, Sweden, Belgium and France.
