Cast of a thousand for ferry booking firm

European ferry booking service Freightlink Solutions says it has achieved its ambition to offer more than 1,000 different freight ferry routes, available online or via its multi-lingual reservations centre. The network connects more than 50 countries and includes ferry services both between countries or domestic island services. Freightlink concedes that some of the crossings on offer “are somewhat obscure” but important in its bid to offer a one-stop shop. It now plans to increase the number of routes to between 1,500 and 1,750 by the end of the year.
