Samphire Cargo buys ACT Forwarding

Samphire Cargo - a sister company of Birmingham-based Simpex Express – has acquired ACT Forwarding and Logistics. Founded in 1986 by managing director Tony Ball, Dover-based ACT employs nine staff, who will now join the Samphire team. The acquisition strengthens Samphire’s customs clearance capabilities.
