APM upgrades Nigeria’s Onne terminal

Nigeria’s Vice President Shettima inaugurated a US$115 million upgrade of APM Terminals' West Africa Container Terminal in Onne on 4 September. The project includes yard expansion, new equipment and a modern office complex. New mobile harbour cranes, rubber tyre gantries and other advanced cargo handling equipment will significantly reduce turnaround time while an improved operating model will boost efficiency at the quay, yard, and gate.
