Change of leadership for Girteka

Jeroen Eijsink is to step down as chief executive of Girteka Group, one of Europe’s largest road transport and logistics companies headquartered in Lithuania, due to personal reasons, and his place will be taken by current board member, Edvardas Liachovičius. Jeroen Eijsink will stay on as a strategic advisor to the new chief executive.

Liachovičius commented: “On behalf of the board and the entire organization, I want to sincerely thank Jeroen for his dedication, vision, and the meaningful contributions he delivered through a transformative period. Our company will continue focusing on building long-term partnerships, investing in modern assets, digital solutions and strengthening position as a leader in road transportation sector. Key priorities and focus will continue to be on driving commercial and operational excellence, enhancing efficiency, and delivering sustainable growth and profitability to create value for all stakeholders.”
