Charitable ACS

ACS’s Charity Committee holds various fund-raising events throughout the year and activities such as quiz nights, parties and an entry in The Great River Race have all added up to an impressive total. Each year the company choses three charities to which to donate – this year the vote went to London Air Ambulance, Cancer Research UK and HEAL.
Over the past two years ACS’s donations alone have paid for a new IT classroom and a new library for the HEAL orphanage and school in Andhra Pradesh, India. Company secretary, treasurer and head of the Charity Committee, Tina Leach’ said: “I was fortunate enough to visit the village of Andhra Pradesh last year to witness first hand what our fund raising was helping to build. I was so touched to see what a difference we could make.”
