CILT chief resigns

Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport UK chief executive, Sharon Kindleysides, has announced her resignation for personal reasons with immediate effect. To ensure a smooth transition, director of finance and company secretary of CILT (UK), Andrew Weatherill, has been appointed interim chief executive, while the search for a permanent replacement is completed. Immediate past chair Alan Jones, said:“During Sharon’s tenure CILT(UK) has achieved significant milestones and while saddened by Sharon’s departure, we respect her decision and I wish her the utmost success in the future.”
