CLdN to launch Lyon-Zeebrugge rail link

Freight ro ro operator CLdN is to launch a rail connection from Lyon, France to its Brittanniadok terminal in Zeebrugge from the end of October. Luxembourg’s CFL Multimodal will initially operate three return services weekly (southbound Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings, northbound on Wednesday and Friday mornings and Saturday afternoons with capacity for trailers, containers and swap-bodies and with a tranist time of 22 hours. Connecting shipping services are available from Zeebrugge including Purfleet, Killingholme and Dublin.
